Union Cabinet Committee approved 78 Days Bonus to Railway Employees
The Central Government today decided to give wages of 78 days as Productivity Linked Bonus to all eligible railway employees.
The Cabinet Committee has approved today the proposal of the Railway Ministry for payment of Productivity Linked Bonus equivalent to 78 days wages to all eligible railway employees for the fiscal 2010-11.
The wage calculation ceiling of Rs.3500 for Productivity Linked Bonus will remain unchanged.
This decision would benefit about 12.61 lakh non-gazetted Railway employees and this will be the highest bonus payment ever to be made by Railways.
