Google Fonts are open source fonts which can be download from Google web fonts site after having a thorough look at the fonts Gallary it has.
Of Course, Google provides these fonts mainly to web designers and developers for use in their websites. But the same font files can be used in your computer also for off-line applications. Once these web fonts are downloaded and added in fonts folder of Windows directory, all Microsoft Office Applications such as MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc would get a new look in the form of rich and quality fonts.
How to install the downloaded fonts?
- Save the fonts downloaded from google web font site in any of the folders in your computer.
- Go to the folder where you saved the font files.
- Copy those files and paste the same in to the fonts folder which you find in the Windows directory.
